Welcome to The Porter House Museum !
This house museum illustrates the life and times of it's owners,
Adelbert and Grace Porter, with their personal furnishings, collections, art work, photographs, and library.
A.F. Porter's collection of exotic butterflies is the focal point of the museum, and "the Porters' story" is closely tied to Bert's work as a naturalist and photographer.
The museum grounds include a unique rock wall, designed by Bert, and built from his extensive collection of rocks and minerals. Fountains, birdbaths, planters, and a water garden enhance the park surrounding the house.

The Museum is open daily June through August

Museum Hours : Sundays and Holidays : 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday thru Saturday : 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
